Magic Garden
3 - 4 October 2026
Program
Overview
Discover the art of creating your own miniature ecosystem at the Terrarium Workshop at Magic Garden, a hands-on experience that brings together nature, creativity, and learning.
Taking place on 3–4 October 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, this workshop invites children, families, and adults to slow down, get their hands involved, and explore the fascinating world of plants through the process of building a terrarium.
Throughout the workshop, participants will be guided step-by-step by experienced facilitators, from learning about the basic elements of a terrarium to arranging plants and natural materials into a living composition of their own. All materials are provided, making the experience accessible for beginners with no previous gardening or terrarium-making experience required.
More than simply a creative activity, the workshop offers an opportunity to observe nature on a smaller scale. Participants can discover how different natural elements come together to create a miniature environment while developing a greater appreciation for plants, ecosystems, and the care required to help living things thrive.
The experience also encourages creativity and personal expression. Each participant can experiment with composition, texture, and arrangement to create a terrarium that feels uniquely their own. At the end of the workshop, everyone will take home their finished creation—a small piece of Magic Garden to continue caring for and enjoying.
Designed to be enjoyable for both kids and adults, the Terrarium Workshop is an opportunity for families to create together, for young participants to explore nature through hands-on learning, or simply for anyone looking for a relaxing and meaningful afternoon surrounded by greenery.
Come create, learn, and reconnect with nature at Magic Garden—and leave with your very own miniature green world.
