🔥 YEAR OF THE FIRE HORSE 🔥

🧧 Chinese New Year Celebration 🧧

w/ CulCha Collective

DJ Sets • Tea Lounge • Hip Hop Tea Ceremony

Ubud tastemakers and tea connoisseurs, CulCha Collective, take over the tea table for a night of puerh drip and ceremonial performance.

Step back in time to ancient China and the tradition of tea art, where sages and scholars gathered around the teapot to indulge their senses. Fine tea was shared in exceptional atmospheres, alongside cultural conversation, music, and dance.

This art form lives on through the CulCha Collective with a modern twist.

Old instruments become NRYN’s turntables.

Ancient poetry is reimagined as hip hop lyricism.

Calligraphy morphs into graffiti.

Tea master Faye Jie steps from behind the tea table to exhibit traditional Chinese dance, remixed with kung fu drawn from the city streets. Special guest artists join to share their hip hop medicine and cultural flavors.

The wise ones gather to both witness and express. This is more than a show.

DJ sets and open dance sessions invite everyone to share their inspiration through movement. The Tea Chi tea lounge grounds participants in comfort and conversation throughout the evening, creating space for connection, reflection, and flow.
