Prints in Motion presents Bali as an emerging center for contemporary printmaking, where the medium is treated as a primary, experimental, and concept-driven practice. Centered around the collaborative environment of DEVFTO Printmaking Institute, the exhibition highlights how artists expand printmaking beyond reproduction through diverse techniques and interdisciplinary approaches. Relief, intaglio, lithography, screen printing, and alternative photographic processes such as gumoil and cyanotype are explored as vehicles for hybridity. It positions Bali not just as a site of artistic retreat, but as an active and evolving axis of innovation in printmaking.
